Lincoln was responsible for Direct Marketing and Communications initiatives at Habitat for Humanity. He introduced its first Annual Appeal which resulted in donations 65% ahead of goal.
When the Canterbury earthquakes struck, Lincoln conceptualised and worked with Husk Creative to create www.shelter.org.nz. This enabled Kiwis to offer temporary accommodation to earthquake-stricken families straight away (before volunteer rebuild work could begin months later).
Lincoln also helped conceptualise and develop a national children's building competition that has resulted in introducing thousands of Kiwis to the work of Habitat for Humanity. Both initiatives were recognised by Habitat for Humanity International.
Lincoln ‘walks the talk’ too. He took a team of 14 Kiwi volunteers to build two houses in Cambodia.
